Scale finds what exists. Ingenuity finds what no one thought to look for. Bennet Legal Research Group pairs the reach of industrial-grade AI with the judgment of analysts trained to think around a problem, not just through it. The result is a distinctive capability: the ability to surface the argument, the analogy, or the overlooked line of reasoning that turns a difficult matter. Machines give our people an unfair breadth of options. Our people decide which of those options is the one that wins.
What we mean by this
Creative Problem-Solving is what happens after the exhaustive search is done. Comprehensive coverage tells you what the landscape contains; it does not tell you which unexpected combination of authorities forms an argument no opponent has anticipated. That leap is an act of reasoning, and reasoning is where human analysts remain decisively ahead.
We treat AI as an instrument that expands the space of things a talented person can consider, not as a replacement for the person. The machine can hold ten thousand possibilities in view at once; the analyst recognizes the three that matter and understands why. Neither half is sufficient alone.
For our clients, this means access to the non-obvious. When a matter looks unwinnable on its face, the value we add is the angle that reframes it, and that angle rarely announces itself in a search result.
How we deliver it
We run a structured methodology we call the ATLAS LOOP, in which our AI systems generate an expansive field of candidate theories, analogies, and cross-domain connections, and our senior analysts then curate, challenge, and recombine them. The machine proposes at scale; the human disposes with judgment; the cycle repeats until a genuinely novel line of reasoning emerges or is ruled out.
Underpinning the loop is PRISM, our lateral-analysis engine, which deliberately searches for structural analogies across unrelated bodies of authority, the parallels between a doctrine in one field and a fact pattern in another that a linear search would never connect. PRISM is designed to be productively surprising, surfacing associations for a human to evaluate rather than answers to be accepted.
Every analyst who works the ATLAS LOOP holds our internal ADVOCATE-tier certification, earned through a rigorous program in adversarial reasoning and argument construction. They are trained specifically to ask the question that reframes the matter, and to pressure-test their own best idea as hard as an opponent would.
The proof
Our analysts complete an average of 320 hours of ADVOCATE-tier training before leading engagements independently, and our creative-reasoning matters pass through a mandatory adversarial review in which a second analyst is tasked solely with dismantling the proposed theory. Only ideas that survive that gauntlet reach a client.
The signal we watch most closely is the novel-angle rate: the share of complex engagements in which our team surfaces a materially useful line of reasoning the client had not previously identified. Over the past year that rate held at 71 percent across our strategic-analysis tier.
Clients tell us the recurring experience is a single reframing sentence that changes the shape of the matter. That sentence is never the output of a model alone. It is the product of a trained mind using the model as leverage.
Why it matters to you
In a market where everyone has access to powerful tools, the tools themselves are no longer the differentiator. What separates outcomes is the quality of the human reasoning applied on top of them, and that is precisely the layer we have invested in most heavily.
Creative Problem-Solving is what you retain us for when the straightforward path is closed. When the obvious research has been done and the answer is unfavorable, the value is in the ingenuity that finds the path around, and ingenuity does not come off a shelf.
You keep the strategic decisions. We hand you a wider, sharper set of options than you knew you had, so that the decision you make is chosen from a better menu than your opponent will ever see.
